Ford Drive 4 UR School: Grandville Band Boosters
Saturday, October. 20th 2018 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Grandville Band Booster Program needs our help, and the good news is all you have to do is test drive a New Ford Vehicle! We’d like to invite everyone to join us at Grandville High School on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and take part in the Ford Drive 4 UR School event!

For every person who stops by the high school and test drives that day, Ford will donate $20 to the band boosters for uniforms, instruments, educational materials, or anything else the band program needs. Together, we can help them raise $6,000 in one day!

Anyone 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance can go for a spin, but only one test drive per household will be valid. This only takes a few minutes of your time, but it makes a big difference!

Ford launched the Drive 4 UR School program in 2007 to help raise funding for education. It allows schools and their various programs to continue or expand through participation with the community. Following the program’s success, Ford launched the Drive 4 UR Community program to help other charitable and community organizations in the same way. These two programs have now raised over 35 million dollars for organizations across the nation. To learn more about the program, visit FordDrive4UR.com.

If you’re interested in going, be sure to check out our Event Page on Facebook. We hope to see you there, and Go Dawgs!

September 12th, 2018

Photo of the New 2019 Ford Edge ST driving though changing weather conditions in West MI with an advanced AI-controlled AWD system
We’ve all experienced it: you’re driving along a West Michigan highway on a beautiful sunny day, and out of nowhere it starts pouring rain. Maybe you’re in Grand Rapids traffic around late fall or early spring and the temperature suddenly dips below freezing. Either way, it makes the advanced new AI-controlled All-Wheel Drive system in the 2019 Ford Edge that much more appealing to Michiganders.

Imagine being in one of the two scenarios above and not needing to do anything but stay focused on the road. The computer keeps an eye on input from all over the vehicle and is able to figure out what kind of driving condition you’re in. It then adjusts the vehicle’s systems accordingly – switching from front-wheel drive to all-wheel drive automatically. Read the rest of this entry »

Borgman Ford happened on a story this week that’s sure to interest West Michigan Ford Performance fans and casual buyers alike. It tells the story of an elite team of engineers who push Ford’s high-performance vehicles to their absolute limit. This particular vehicle is a 2019 Ford Mustang GT V8 convertible in Wimbledon White, boasting a whopping 460 horsepower. What makes this one special though, is that it pays tribute to VIN 001 – the first ever serialized 1964.5 Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang has long been a favorite here in Grand Rapids and West Michigan, just as it has around the world for decades. The car has become something of a cultural icon, appearing in countless movies and bringing people together. This includes our friends at the West Michigan Mustang Club or the 50+ fans that visited Flat Rock to pay tribute and make the above photo possible. Read the rest of this entry »
