With one of the industry’s biggest percentage sales increases in June, there’s no doubt Mazda is on a roll. And now the company is making it easier than ever before for customers who want to do a little rolling of their own, Mazda-style. That’s because Mazda North America has just launched a new Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle program that takes the Mazda CPO experience to a brand-new benchmark.
“Mazda’s new Certified Pre-Owned program is designed expressly to make the process easy and affordable for customers shopping for a high-quality pre-owned vehicle,” said Ron Stettner, vice president of sales for Mazda North America. “As Mazda was recently recognized by ALG for holding one of the highest residual values in the industry, our new CPO program allows us to provide a never-before-offered level of warranty security that goes with the value for money already packaged into every new Mazda.”
That security includes providing CPO customers with either the balance of their vehicles’ factory warranty coverage or an additional 12-month/12,000-mile comprehensive warranty, and that’s on top of a seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Further, there are no deductibles or co-pays for warranty repairs, and free roadside assistance is standard for the life of the powertrain coverage. This includes such services as flat-tire changes, battery jumps, help for customers locked out of their vehicles and fuel delivery if they run out of gas.
Only Mazda vehicles from 2006-2010, with fewer than 60,000 miles, are eligible for the program, and then only after they undergo a rigorous multi-point inspection and reconditioning program at a participating Mazda dealership.
All of which means Mazda products are now as easy to own as they are fun to drive.
